Frequently Asked Questions

Is an appointment required for IV therapy?

Consultations with Dr. Bradshaw, or Jennifer Barberi, APRN-C are required prior to your first infusion to discuss medical history, health concerns and goals. Vitamin deficiencies and/ or symptoms are assessed to determine which infusions are recommended for the individual patient. Where appropriate, labs may be required prior to receiving a particular therapy to assure the best level of patient care. Protocols are designed based on individual needs; there is no ‘one size fits all’. Following completion of an infusion protocol series, lab work is recommended to monitor and reassess the patient’s overall health.

When should I notice a difference?

You may start to feel the positive effects of IV therapy as soon as the vitamins and nutrients are introduced into your bloodstream; and many people leave feeling energized and refreshed. These therapies can remain in your body for days, weeks, or even months. Our clients frequently enjoy these benefits for months after treatment. Results significantly depend on your body’s needs and the type of infusion you receive.

What about if I’m receiving treatment for acute or chronic conditions?

iv infusion

For those patients receiving focused therapies for either acute and/ or chronic conditions, metabolism, or skin rejuvenation, it may take a couple of weeks, and a couple of IV sessions, before you start to notice the positive effects. For these types of therapies, it may be recommended to do infusions one to two times weekly for a series of treatments. Recommendations are individualized, so each case is different. Re-evaluation will be requested after each IV series for determination of how best to proceed.
